This gem was built by professionals in a boatyard to stringent specifications from plans that were specifically drawn up for the ferro construction method. In fact, specs, plans, drawings and correspondence between the builder and original owner are available. Not a rushed job, with ample curing times being incorporated, she even has the detailed survey report which was issued upon the completion of construction which specifies the method and materials used.
She was always meant for ocean cruising and has already undertaken a number of serious offshore passages which have proven her pedigree for blue water cruising. Elements of her design all support this with a deep, secure and safe cockpit, oversized rigging, high lifelines and a large, flat foredeck to ensure safe movement topsides around the vessel. Everything is solid about this yacht. Because of her construction material and quality of construction, she is only second to steel in overall strength and robustness.
