THORNY DEVIL

DESCRIPTION

The Thorny Devil is Lazy Lizard's expedition camper.  It has been designed from the ground up to to take you places other campers can't reach.  It has a small compact  footprint and follows closely behind the towing vehicle.  It rides high on 17 inch tyres supported by trailing arm independent suspension.  Anywhere your 4WD can go, your Thorny Devil can follow.

The Thorny Devil is short enough to fit into most garages where you can keep your trailer on charge, packed and ready to go. its also light enough to maneuver by hand. Its as comfortable towing through the city as it is those 4X4 tracks up north and as the cliche goes You hardly know its there! 

The Thorny Devil is designed to be packed, prepped and ready to go. Once you arrive at your camping destination, the Thorny Devil takes less than 10 minutes to set up, and that includes the kids room. 

The Thorny Devil sets the benchmark for offroadability with its many unique features and state-of-the-art manufacturing to boot. 
You can stay off the grid longer.  The Thorny Devil is designed to go anywhere and stay there longer. A full electrical management with a massive 2000 W inverter keeps your trailer and your gear charged and operational for weeks at a time.

A  true expedition camper
The Thorny Devil is a true expedition camper.  Its light weigth and compact frame allow it to go places other campers could never reach.
It is a true off-road and off-grid camper, set up to allow you to spend time far away from amenities.
Pull-out kitchen
The rugged stainless steel kitchen locks firmly in place, safely sealed away from the travel dust and dirt.
It can be quickly set up for road side stops without the camper trailer being unfolded.
Water is provided from the Thorny Devil's large 100 litre stainless steel tank by a 12 volt electric pump.
The gas stove  is immediately ready to use, just requiring the gas to be turned on. 
Super sized bed
The Thorny Devil comes equipped with a queen sized bed with a luxurious mattress.

The bed folds in half for travelling and unfolds when the tent is popped up.
270 degree awning.
The Thorny Devil comes with a 270 degree awning that can be set up quickly and easily.  Specially fitted arms raise the awning once unclipped.
Collapsible aluminium ladder
The roof top tent is accessed by a sturdy aluminium ladder.
A second tent can be errected around the ladder area to make a second enclosed room.
