The fact that it fits into such a range of vehicles only helps its cause. The 1JZ-GTTEU runs a twin (T12A) turbocharged set up pushing it to a factory power output of 210kw (280hp) @ 6,2000rpm and 363Nm (268ft.lb) @ 4,800rpm, making it a respectable factory engine in the performance scene. It features the smaller of the two designs in the ÂJZÂ series at 2,491cc but is still a very competitive engine in the straight 6 class. After looking at itÂs numbers it is no wonder that this engine has become more and more popular to maybe contest for a spot as the most popular engine used in drifting.
