1992-98 SUPRA JZA80 SZ 2JZ-GE ENGINE 2997CC 6 CYLINDER DOHC Power 166kw (200hp) at 6000rpm, Torque 298Nm at 4000rpm Toyota had to respond to Nissans' highly successful RB series and they did so by releasing their own powerhouse, the "JZ". The 2JZ-GE featured the bigger of the two blocks with a displacement of 2997cc and was set up with a non turbo sequential electronic fuel injected system creating 166rwkw of naturally aspirated power. The 2JZ-GE could be found standard in a few different models such as the Altezza, Aristo and the Chaser, but the 2JZ gained its reputation when it was released in the JZA80 Supra.
