1974/78 Ducati 750GT Roundcase.

Ducatisti and Ducati histors will know of the very unique batch of 40 1974 specification 750GT’s built exclusively by the factory for Norm Fraser (Fraser Motorcycles) in 1978. This is one of those 40 and is a very rare, and patina perfect example. This bike has never been restored.   John Dawe of , , purchased this bike in 1990 from Euro Brit Motorcycles in . John had a nice collection of Ducati motorcycles and this bike spent most of its life on display. He rarely rode it and the present owner had always told John if it was ever for sale that he wished to buy it. In August, 2008, John sold this bike to the present owner who has used it sparingly for general riding and for club outings.

Restoration: This bike has never undergone any level of refurbishment, it is completely original with exception to the fitment of Marzocchi rear shocks & Conti exhausts.

General Information: Being a 1978 750 Roundcase it has some very unusual features such as square case style switch gear and blinkers, Radaelli steel rims, later style lettering on the rear of the seat with old style badges on the tank. Only 40 of these GT’s were ever made and they were all delivered new in Australia. This bike is located in , central Australia.
