This 2010 Ducati 1198S was only campaigned over 2 seasons between 2011 and 2013, then twice ridden in the Festival of Speed Legend’s ride & Broadford Bonanza Display rides. The bike was meticulously maintained and received the best equipment & support available from Ducati Australia. Included with the sale is an enormous selection of all OEM road parts removed. As the images detail, these parts are all brand-new as the bike was never used in road trim. Sellers comments: There is a difference between getting ‘help’ from a Dealer and having Ducati Distributor support; Ducati Australia provided direct Distributor support for the supply of bikes, parts and technical support. was always available, real factory parts and equipment i.e., coils, race ecu's, seats, exhausts etc were top of the range, there was no issue with availability or cost. Engine: Minor servicing was done in-house with oils and filters etc replaced before each race meeting. Ducati did the major maintenance and the bike was frequently checked over, maintained and rebuilt by Ducati with a full major service at the end of each season. As a direct sponsored rider, parts and cost were not relevant, reliability was the focus, so anything worn was replaced, anything reaching its use limit was replaced. Suspension: The best set-up settings from Ducati Corse and Ohlins as a base, before being maintained and developed by Shock Treatment Suspension Services. The OEM Ohlin’s contain full Factory Superstock Ohlin’s internals and valving, this bike handles and turns impeccably. DUCATI 1198S HISTORY: 2011 SEASON: 6nd Overall Austral Pro Thunder Championship,7th Overall in the National Pro-Thunder Championship, 3rd Formula 1 Pro-Thunder Championship, 3rd National BEARS Formula 1 Championship. 2012 SEASON: Did not Race 2013 SEASON: Won two Austral Road Racing Championships1st Austral FX-Thunderbike Championship. 1st National FX-Thunderbike Cup, Ducati Owners Club of Club Champion.
