Fireboy 3 Circuit Engine Shutdowm System - 24/32 volt DC

DESCRIPTION

Compressed gas suppressants may not stall a diesel engine. If fire breaks out aboard a diesel powered vessel, the engine must be shut down immediately. An eight litre engine running at 2500rpm consumes 333 l/sec of air from the engine room, rapidly removing the fire suppressent from the area where it is needed, sending it out the exhaust! Continued operation may remove the fire-suppressing agents creating the possibility of re-ignition. Fireboy engine shutdown systems respond automatically when a Fireboy system discharges, providing shutdown of up to five items, such as engines, bilge blowers, fuel pumps etc.

All systems are solid state for greater reliability. The display unit has an integrated alarm horn, charged/discharged lights and an override switch for restart or control of auto shutdown.

Second Station Control
Add a second station control and monitor to the engine shutdown system.
Offers the same functionality as the primary station control.
