Schools Project for years 6 and 7. Students find an Australian who was a refugee, inteview them and tell their story through the project. This project was set up by Eva Sallis and Mariana Hardwick, founders of Australians Against Racism, as a competition for schools to enter in 2002. Also included is an essay by Albert Shelling, which tells the story of his family's journey as post-war Jewish refugees, who eventually ended up in Australia and never looked back.
