A pictorial tribute to the de Havilland Tiger Moth, which was first test-flown in October 1931. During World War II, thousands of Allied pilots were trained on this aeroplane. After the end of the war, although a great number of Tiger Moths retained their status as military training aircraft, many others were allocated new roles.
