Vetafarm EctoTherm Shedding Mist Shedding Mist has been designed to aid snakes and lizards during the natural process of shedding. With a unique blend of cosmeceuticals, Shedding Mist hydrates and softens old skin easing the shedding process, while conditioning the new skin to leave it with a healthy shine. Snakes and lizards will periodically shed their skin; this is commonly referred to as sloughing. As juveniles they shed more frequently and becomes less frequent as they age. Snakes tend to shed in one complete piece while lizards tend to shed in patches. Issues such as constriction of the toes and incomplete shedding. Shedding Mist has been designed to ease the shedding process for lizards and snakes by hydrating and softening the old skin and conditioning the new skin giving it a natural and healthy sheen. Shedding Mist is non-toxic and completely safe for reptiles, their water and handling. Poor nutrition may have a negative impact on the shedding process. Average daily pellet requirements: Ectotherm Lizard Food should be made readily available to lizards at all times, making up at least 80% of the total diet to ensure nutritional balance. Depending on your species of lizard, fruits, vegetables, insects or small vertebrates should also be made available to provide dietary enrichment and variety. If using Ectotherm Lizard Food as a dietary supplement (less than 80% of total diet), a calcium, vitamin and mineral supplement such as Multical Dust should be added to the diet.
