Both parents have a heritage of protecting livestock from predators. They have a pleasant nature, while being protective of family, but not aggressive unless threatened. We have a 7 acre property with a few sheep ( ewes with lambs at foot ) and chickens. Having these dogs watching over them, we never have a problem with foxes.
