“I originally fell in love with the layout of the apartment and the Bamboo floors. Over time I came to realise that the best aspect of living here was being able to walk to IGA for a grocery run or Lawley's for fresh bread; grab a cheap bite at the food court; casual dinner at Royal's Chicken or Mama's & Papa's Japanese café or catching-up for a drink with friends at the Wembley or the Stanley. Occasionally after work, I encouraged myself to go for a run, which was easy with Lake Monger just around the corner. On the weekends, it was great to have City Beach, Subiaco and Leederville close by as my partner and I loved going out for breakfast and taking the dog to the beach just before sunset. I will certainly miss this place, but it is time to move on.”
