Hi all! We are offering a private room in South Wentworthville (2145) for $200 per week. Fully furnished, available now, just bring your suitcases! (We have another room available for up to 2 people, also, so please contact us if you're interested in that.)

The House:
Our house (The Raleigh) is a 2 storey, 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with large living areas, a fireplace, and large yards.

The house is very close to local bus stops as well as being in walking distance of a variety of local shops (Aldi, takeaway, convenience, etc) and is on a quiet cul-de-sac street.

Your Room:
The room is upstairs, decently sized and comes fully furnished with a loft bed and a desk, two solid wood chests of drawers, and a large built in wardrobe. There are even quality block-out blinds put up so you won't be woken by the morning sun - unless you want to! The upstairs bathroom services the two upstairs bedrooms. At the time of writing this, the other upstairs room is empty, so you'll have the entire floor (including the bathroom) all to yourself.

You are also welcome to use the common areas of the house, too. We have a large living area with fireplace, lounges, and flat-screen TV with multitudes of streaming services available. There is a small but functional kitchen and a large dining area. There is a balcony at the back with a BBQ and outdoor furniture, a large backyard, a covered entertainment and storage area at the side of the house and a front balcony with patio settings as well as a front yard where we grow herbs and veggies.

Your Potential Housemates:
I (Leo) live here with my old high school friend Josh. I work in coding and Josh is a streamer so we can usually be found in the living room doing our own thing. Or in the garden or the entertainment area. We like to think of ourselves as respectful housemates.

Then there's Lulu, my dog. She's a little excitable and (as a kelpie x staffy) a little big, but she loves people and people love her. She'll bark to tell us when someone approaches our property (so we'll never be surprised by anyone arriving!), but then wants to shower any newcomers with love when they arrive! She is not, however, a fan of cats or other dogs, so no four-legged sharemates can join us.

The Numbers:
The rent is $200 per week not including bills. Bills are electricity, water usage and internet and currently come to about $20 per person per week. The bond is $400. The day before move in day, 2 weeks' rent and bond is required. Then 2 weeks' rent paid fortnightly starting 2 weeks after move-in date.
