This stunning Belgian Steed is a full carbon Ridley Damocles built up with a full Shimano Dura Ace 7970 Di2 10speed groupset, Cole Shuriken C-50 full carbon clinchers (AS NEW!) with Continental Grand Prix 4000 tires, full carbon wing bars, NEW Easton carbon stem, NEW Specialized Romin saddle and NEW Easton stem and 2 bottle cages. And off course the Di2 charger is also included. Full bike is in excellent condition with only a few marks on the frame where a sensor was attached, but other than that this frame, groupset and wheelset is spotless! A unique head turner!
The frame size is 56cm (effective top tube) and suitable for riders of 175 to 185 or 5ft9 to 6ft1.
Ridley is Belgium brand and was founded only 17 years ago (1997), however within just a few years they became the best sold brand in Belgium, the only country in the world where cycling is the number one sport (yes even bigger than soccerÉ They say Belgium television will start broadcasting as soon as more than 3 riders come together anywhere in Belgium ;)). Nowadays UCI Pro Tour team, Lotto Belisol ride Ridley bikes, and will ride them in the coming Tour the France (Lotto Belisol already rode them in the Tour of 2013). The bikes they are riding in the tour are actual stock bikes allowing Ridley to test these models under rigorous circumstances and making them directly available to the public!
This beautiful Damocles frame is full constructed according RidleyÕs Sharp Edge SL Design and it is a very lightweight but robust monoque frame. This Damocles was built for Belgium conditions and tested on the cobblestones so it will handle anything you throw at it with ease! The awesome carbon wing bars will offer superior grip and look awesome. The frame is in excellent condition with only minor signs of use.
With ShimanoÕs flag ship Dura Ace 7970 Di2 10speed groupset you really canÕt go wrong! This is what the proÕs ride and the electronic gearing means perfect crisp shifting at the push of a button and tuning the gears is a thing of the past! The cranks are 53/39 with 172.5 crank arms and the cassette is a 12/26 cassette.
The Cole full carbon clinchers are top of the range (RRP 2000+) and are in new condition with no noticeable wear! They are lightweight and clinchers so easy to maintain!
This bike really represents the full package with a top of the range European carbon frame, electronic gearing and full carbon clinchers in top condition, what more could you hope for?? For this price you can only buy a decent entry level bike in the shop!
