BENTLEY S2 CONTINENTAL DROPHEAD BY PARK WARD 1961 travelled ( CHASSIS: BC86BY), FULL BODY OFF FRAME RESTORATION TO THE HIGHEST STANDARD. One of only 63 RIGHT HAND DRIVE BUILT and one of the most important and special coach built motor cars we have ever had the pleasure to offer for WORLDWIDE sale. One of only 125 Park Ward Dropheads produced in total and the first generation to feature the now famous 200HP Rolls-Royce V8 engine. This particular example has lived a most lavished and prominent life. The chassis of BC86BY was delivered to Park Ward on the 16th January 1961, the coachwork was completed some six months later where the Bentley agent, Jack Barclay Ltd, delivered it to Mr. J. Eisinger of 34 Belgrave Square, Belgravia, London SW1 (The former East German Embassy). The original garaged address, for those who do not know, is in the most famous and historic square in Belgravia and has been home to Royalty and foreign dignitaries for centuries ' a fitting place for what was the most expensive and exotic car available at the time.

Originally specified to be finished in Sand with Beige trim, it appears that this was changed some prior to the car going to Park Ward for its coachwork. Finished today in Dark Blue Metallic with Beige upholstery, Beige carpets and Beige Everflex power folding roof and discreetly fitted under dash air-conditioning, the condition is absolutely pristine, exceptional concours standard.
