DESCRIPTION
1985 Ford Fairmont Station Wagon.
Original Survivor Condition.
Possibly the lowest kilometre Ford Fairmont Wagon available.
I am the second owner.
Only 57,000 ORIGINAL kilometres, ORIGINAL BOOKS and paperwork to substantiate kilometres travelled.
ORIGINAL OLYMPIC GOLD PAINT, Biege interior, NO RUST except for a couple of small spots from paint chips. Paint is excellent and ORIGINAL, shines like a new car, never been accident damaged. All panels are very straight, as seen by the photos.
Power Steering, Air Conditioning (working), rare factory optioned Cruise Control (not working).
The Fairmont interior is in excellent unmarked condition. Non smokers car.
The car has factory Venetians in the wagon area, as well as a factory Sun-Visor and Towbar, Bonnet Protector, and Headlight Protectors
The wagon was off the road for a long time, when I purchased it, I had it recommissioned professionally by a mechanic - changed all fluids, cleaned the fuel system and fuel tank and got the brakes functioning as they should.
The 4.1 litre Crossflow Motor is the quietest and smoothest I have heard, runs beautifully and the car drives just like new with no noises or rattles. The wagon is currently fitted with new whitewall tyres on 15 LTD/25th XF Anniversary alloy rims. The original 14 Ford rims and whitewall tyres with the original Fairmont Hubcaps (excellent condition, no scrapes or scratches) go with the car.
According to Ford - 1 of 17 built in this configuration.
This really is an excellent, untouched, survivor. There are not many around this original, with this mileage and in this condition. It is a unique wagon.
As they say they are only original once.
The wagon is currently on NSW Club Plates and is therefore sold as an unregistered vehicle.
It is advertised elsewhere, and this add maybe removed at anytime.
$25,000 but the price is negotiable.
Should you wish to discuss the wagon - murray -
