Launched in March 1961, the Fabulous E-Type Jaguar was Greeted with World Wide Acclaim and is Revered by Enthusiasts To This Day as one of the British Motor Industryâs Greatest Achievements. Even the Great Enzo Ferrari reportedly called it âThe Most Beautiful Car Ever Madeâ
Following the Success of the Original 3.8L Variants the 4.2L was Introduced, Providing the Same Level of Power and Top Speed, with the Added Bonus of Almost 18% More Torque, Allowing for an Improved Driving Experience. The Series 2 was Released in 1968 and Continued in Production Until 1971.
Sold New in Late 1968 to a John R Clayton of Lamarque Texas, this Numbers Matching Cream, Left Hand Drive Coupe found itâs way to Australia, where a Restoration Took Place between 2009 and 2011, Including the Fitment of the Prettier Series 1.5 Bonnet, Resulting in the E-Type Receiving Queensland Compliance on the 13th of July 2011.
