2010 Mercedes-Benz Vito 639 120CDI Van Automatic

DESCRIPTION

Mercedes Vito Van used by my daughter as a festival camping van. It has a bed frame which is firmly strapped down using the rear cargo tie-down rings, so easily removed if needed. Under bed space has runners to allow plastic crates to be stored without sliding about. All runners are easily unscrewed if not needed.
She no longer needs a van, and has bought herself a smaller car. As listed in the details, the van has more than 12 months registration (until 7th December 2025). It drives and handles beautifully, and the 6 cylinder engine allows it to cruise efortlessly on long trips.
Maintenance:
In her time owning the van she fitted new tyres (March 2024),replaced the battery (June 2023) replaced the rear main engine seal ( July 2023) replaced roof rack rubbers (2022) replaced the mass airflow sensor (December 2021) installed seat covers (December 2021)
Imperfections and damage:
Car is almost 15 years old and spent most of that time in QLD - consequently there is some clearcoat peeling on the flat panels. There are a number of minor scrapes and scratches as you would expect to find on a car of this age and mileage. There is a shallow key gouge on the rear passenger quarter. There is some very slight panel deformation at the base of the front passenger door. The louvres in the passenger air vents are damaged/broken. The drivers seat side adjustment lever is missing the cover, and the seat itself has damaged lining, which is covered by the carseat. The car is almost completely rust free, but there is a small rust line on the bonnet adjoining the drivers windscreen wiper. The windscreen itself has a couple of minor stone chips - it has just passed registration with these chips, so they are not significant. The aftermarket LED light bar mounted on the bullbar does work, but only 14 (of 42) LEDs are functional. The previous owner had a second row of seats removed before my daughter owned it. The gaps left in the OEM wooden floor have been filled with timber inserts bolted through the floor in the OEM seat threads. The oil level readout in the dashboard menus indicates the engine needs about 500ml of oil every 3 months.
