1956 Ducati 85 Sport


The Ducati 85 is from the early entry-level OHV pushrod range designed for lightness and economical advantages for a country still recovering from war.

The model featured an 85cc OHV single cylinder engine and four-speed transmission. Compared to more modern Desmo singles, the tiny OHV engine may not seem all that impressive, but in a time when power was a lot more subdued, the 85 Sport carried enough ponies to taken very seriously.

This particular example is presently nearing completion of full restoration including engine & gearbox. The original colour theme has been faithfully returned as will all other aspects of the bike. Located with our Belgium agent, the advertised price is for the bike in completed condition, and includes shipping and arrival charges into , or similar to other ports.
