She is ready to go to her forever home now, at 11 weeks old. Mum (Pukha) is Black and White with brown eyes. She is 4 years old, and she was born from my parents' Border Collie Maia, so I was there for her birth, and she never left my side since. She is a cheeky, loving, fiercely loyal girl, and I could not imagine my life without her. She loves humans, other dogs, and most of all, bouncy balls! Dad (Teddy) is Lilac Merle with green and blue eyes (Heterochromia in Border Collies are not a birth defect and are purely aesthetic - meaning that Light Blue does not carry a gene that could cause sight problems later in life, on the contrary, she carries a gene that means she could have gorgeous puppies with two different coloured eyes, should you wish to breed her!!!). He is 3 years old and lives with his family in Beaudesert. He lives with 2 other dogs, and 2 human kids, whom he loves to bits and plays with everyday. Both parents have had full Orivet DNA profiles done and were cleared for breeding. Light Blue is adventurous and playful, a fluffy little bundle of joy with her own cheeky personality. Her full black snout and forehead make her stand out, as most Border Collies display their signature white line. She loves a good cuddle and makes us laugh with her puppy antics. She is the last one of the litter to look for a home, and the adult dogs that she grew up with (Pukha, her mum, and Sid, our 10 year-old dalmatian - not related to her by blood, but still an awesome uncle) are not as fun to play with than her littermates who have left to their fur-ever homes. She is people puppy, looooves meeting new people, and looooves playing with other dogs too. She hangs out with our friends' kids often and is neither fearful of them or overly excited when she plays. She has been wormed and vet checked every two weeks since birth, and vaccinated and microchipped (at 6 weeks-old on 25/7/24). She comes with a USB stick with everything you need to know about the Border Collie breed in general, her growth graph since birth, her medical records, and of course, all the videos and photos we've taken.
