Hi there, I'm Ziggy. I'm a shy boy with a big heart on the lookout for my furever home. A calm place with loving, reassuring humans is just what I need! With some love and reassurance, I just know I'll be ready to open up to be my sweet self with my new friends for life.

As a shy boy, I find myself being a bit reserved in new places. New environments can be scary to me, and loud, sudden noises can give me a big fright! Since I worry easily, I'd love to be able to be inside with the rest of the family so I can feel safe and secure. Someone who can stay home more often than not would be a great fit for me.

Once I settle in, you will see me open up to be a gorgeous boy who loves to be with his people. If anyone is offering pats you can bet that I'll be there, leaning in and enjoying them and giving you plenty of licks along the way. And I love my toys - especially rope toys - and chasing things around in my yard. And who can forget the amazing cuddles I can give? Top quality cuddles, if I do say so myself!

I would love for my new family to go slow with me as I get to know everyone, especially since I get worried about close handling and restraint. Making these interactions positive and fun is a great way to help me feel reassured and relaxed.

If there are any teens at home, I'd love to meet them! I think we'd get along great. And if there are any doggie friends at home, I'd love to meet them too - especially if they are calm and social.
