2011 hyundai iload problems

Looking at a 2011 Hyundai iLoad and wondering what gremlins lurk? The 2.5‑litre diesel is generally stout if serviced on time, but hard‑working vans can develop a few predictable aches. Here are the usual suspects to check before you hand over the folding stuff:

• EGR and intake soot build‑up causing rough idle, smoke, or limp mode
• Turbo wear or boost leaks; listen for siren‑like whine and inspect intercooler hoses
• Injector or fuel‑system niggles leading to hard starts or diesel knock
• Sliding door rollers, latches, and handles wearing out or sticking
• Front brake shudder/warped rotors under load
• Steering column or rack knock over bumps
• Air‑con evaporator/condenser leaks and weak cooling
• Clutch and dual‑mass flywheel wear on manuals used for heavy towing or stop‑start work

On a test drive, start it cold, check for smoke, feel for brake wobble, and make sure both sliders glide like butter. A pre‑purchase inspection and solid service history are worth their weight in spanners; check for any outstanding recalls while you’re at it.
