2023 ford ranger payload Page 21

As ever with utes, the 2023 Ford Ranger’s payload depends on the variant, tray type and what you’ve bolted on for bling. Across the range you’re looking at roughly 650–1,300 kg of payload, from heavy-duty XL cab‑chassis through XLT/Wildtrak tubs, with Raptor the lightest of the bunch. Typical ballpark figures: XL 4x2/4x4 cab‑chassis around 1,200–1,300 kg, XLT/Wildtrak dual-cab tubs about 950–1,050 kg, and Raptor roughly 650–800 kg.

Remember payload is GVM minus kerb weight, and accessories, passengers and even a towbar nibble away at it. For your exact car, check the door placard or compliance plate and the owner’s manual; options and trays can change it dramatically. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
