2023 mux review

The 2023 Isuzu MU-X is the Aussie family hauler that tows like a champ and still squeezes into the school pickup without diplomatic drama.

Its 3.0-litre turbo-diesel delivers 140 kW/450 Nm, seats 7, and hauls a braked load of 3,500 kg—perfect for caravans, boats, or ambition.

Ride is tidy for a ladder-frame, cabin tech is straightforward with smartphone mirroring, and safety kit is generous with a 5-star rating.

Expect real-world economy around 8–9 L/100 km and proper off-road nous with low-range (on 4x4 models) plus up to 800 mm wading.

Consult official documentation for exact figures.
