The Nissan 370Z is a proper old-school coupe: big naturally aspirated V6 up front, rear-drive, and a cabin that smells faintly of 2009 machismo.
The 3.7‑litre VQ V6 packs around 245 kW and 363 Nm, with a snickety 6‑speed manual (rev-match party trick) or a 7‑speed auto if you’d rather let it do the counting.
It’s quick enough and feels stout, but the ride is firm, the steering talks with its mouth full, and the infotainment looks like it still pays for DVDs.
Economy is more “gym bro bulking” than “lean and green”, and the boot isn’t exactly daring you to move house.
On the used market it’s appealing: tough mechanicals, plenty of aftermarket bits, and depreciation that’s already done the heavy lifting.
If you want driver involvement over gizmos, it’s a grin; if you crave lane-keep nannying and wireless everything, look elsewhere.
