The 90,000 km service is usually a “major” one—less oil-and-filter, more proper TLC.
Expect fresh engine oil and filter, new air and cabin filters, a brake fluid flush, and inspections of brakes, belts, hoses, suspension and coolant; many petrols also get spark plugs at or around this interval.
Depending on the vehicle, you may also see transmission/diff oil changes, a fuel filter (diesels especially), and time-based items like coolant or even a timing belt if age/mileage says so.
In Australia, budget roughly AUD $400–800 for a typical small/mid petrol and AUD $700–1,400+ for larger, diesel, or belt/valve-clearance jobs—parts and access drive the bill.
Always follow your logbook schedule and service bulletins for your exact model, and keep receipts so resale doesn’t give you the stink-eye.
