act p plate speed limit Page 30

Short version: in the ACT there’s no special P-plate speed cap—you follow the posted limits, not a separate 90 or 100 like over the border. Still, you need a 0.00 BAC, P-plates displayed, and zero phone fiddling unless it’s fully hands-free, because fines arrive faster than bad karaoke. Sensible? Yes. Boring? Also yes, but it beats explaining yourself to an officer with a laser gun. Check the ACT Government road rules for any updates before you set off.
