Chasing Adelaide scenic drives? Point the bonnet at the Adelaide Hills and take Gorge Road to Cudlee Creek, then loop through Lenswood and Mount Lofty for postcard views. For wine-with-a-view, cruise the Barossa via Seppeltsfield Road’s palms and back through Eden Valley’s rolling bends. Down south, the Fleurieu run from McLaren Vale to Victor Harbor (Range Road and Willunga Hill) serves sea cliffs, vines, and bakery temptations. If you fancy it wilder, hug the coast past Sellicks to Deep Creek Conservation Park where the corners are as sharp as the scenery. Short on time? Morialta and Norton Summit deliver quick switchbacks and big-city panoramas without guzzling a tank.
