are fast flashing indicators illegal Page 171

Fast flashing indicators, often called "hyper-flash," are a bit like that annoying mate who always talks too fast—technically, they're a no-go in Australia. The Australian Road Rules require indicators to flash at a rate between 60 to 120 flashes per minute. Anything faster is considered illegal because it can confuse other road users. This usually happens when LED bulbs replace standard ones without the correct resistors or flasher units. If you want to avoid a fine or a stern look from the local copper, keep your blinker flashing within the legal rhythm.
