In 2023, Aston Martin’s AMR23 was powered by a Mercedes‑AMG hybrid power unit supplied by Mercedes High Performance Powertrains—no secret sauce badge-engineering here.

The setup is a 1.6‑litre, turbo‑hybrid V6 with MGU‑K and MGU‑H, screaming to a 15,000 rpm limit and delivering roughly 735–750 kW (≈980–1000 hp) combined.

Fuel’s the E10 brew, the battery hoovers up energy under braking, and the split turbo helps keep the party going between corners.

Aston Martin also ran Mercedes ancillaries to suit the package, which is handy when you’re chasing podiums rather than gremlins.

Numbers are approximate because F1 teams guard data like state secrets—Consult official documentation for exact figures.
