atom car

The Ariel Atom is a brutal, no-frills, street-legal monster that laughs in the face of traditional car luxury. With a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine producing around 320 horsepower and a featherweight chassis tipping the scales at approximately 600 kg, this beast rockets from 0-100 km/h in about 2.8 seconds. New models in Australia can set you back anywhere from $100,000 to $150,000 AUD, while used ones might be found for less on CarShowroom or Tradingpost. Don't expect air conditioning or a decent sound system; this is raw, unfiltered speed and fun. Check official Ariel documentation for detailed specs and maintenance tips.
