audi adaptive cruise control

Audi’s Adaptive Cruise Control uses radar and camera smarts to hold your set speed and maintain a gap to the car ahead, taking the sting out of Aussie motorway slogs.

In stop‑start traffic, versions with Stop & Go can brake to a halt and set off again—but you still need to pay attention and keep hands on the wheel; it’s driver assistance, not a robo‑chauffeur.

On some models it teams up with Lane Assist to gently centre the car, and you can adjust following distance to suit your mood (civil, or impatient‑but‑legal).

Heavy rain, glare or unexpected wildlife can dull its talents, so expect alerts and be ready to take over; always read your owner’s manual for specifics on your model.
