This 10T (10,000kg) rated pintle hook is ideal for heavy-duty uneven surface towing. Pintle hooks are used in combination with ring couplings to allow for a smoother ride. Since pintle hooks can give you a greater towing capacity they are often used to replace the traditional ball and hitch set ups. If you need to transverse the rough Australian terrain it might be a great idea to change to a pintle and ring coupling set up as they can better deal with bump uneven surfaces.
