Ah, the "baby LandCruiser"—a cheeky nickname tossed around for the Toyota Prado, which tries to squeeze the LandCruiser's rugged mojo into a slightly more manageable package. The Prado packs a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine producing around 150 kW and 500 Nm, making it a capable off-roader without requiring a full camping expedition to handle it. New models will set you back roughly $70,000 to $85,000 AUD, while used ones can be found on Tradingpost or CarShowroom starting around $40,000 AUD. It's the sensible LandCruiser sibling, but don't expect it to tackle the outback with the same legendary toughness. For the full specs and off-road credentials, best to consult Toyota's official documentation or a ServiceCentral mechanic.
