bathurst 2023 result

The 2023 Bathurst 1000 was won by Shane van Gisbergen and Richie Stanaway for Red Bull Ampol Racing, hustling a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 around Mount Panorama.

First Bathurst of the Gen3 era, same mountain mood: long stints, Safety Car shuffles, and a late dash that never quite rattled the winners.

SVG did the swaggering stuff, Stanaway did the smart stuff, and together they made the rest of the field look like they’d brought a butter knife to a BBQ.

If you were waiting for a twist ending, the twist was that they were just too quick and too tidy on the day.
