Ah, Bedford Motors, the name that conjures images of robust British commercial vehicles rolling off production lines in the mid-20th century. If you're after a bit of history, Bedford was a subsidiary of Vauxhall, mainly known for their trucks and vans rather than sleek passenger cars. In Australia, these beasts were workhorses, not show ponies, often snapped up on Tradingpost or CarShowroom by those needing reliable, if somewhat tired, utility vehicles.

Expect to pay anywhere from a few hundred to a couple thousand AUD for a used Bedford, depending on condition and model—new ones? Sorry, mate, those days are long gone. Common issues include rust (British steel wasn’t the best), worn-out suspension, and parts scarcity, so check thoroughly before buying.
