best 4wd course melbourne

“Best” is a moving target, mate—it depends on your rig, your skill level, and how keen you are to get muddy. Look for an accredited provider with small class sizes, proper recovery practice (snatch straps and safe winching), and a full day on real tracks rather than a whiteboard sermon. A solid course should cover tyre pressures, line choice, hill starts and stalls, water crossings, and the fine art of not becoming a YouTube fail. Bonus points if you train in varied terrain near Melbourne and use your own vehicle so the lessons actually stick. Ask for a clear syllabus, insurance details, and post-course support—because confidence is great, but competence gets you home.
