best car for uber driver Page 80

For Uber, you want a car that sips fuel, shrugs off kilometres, and keeps passengers comfy without costing the earth.

Hybrids are the sweet spot: think Toyota Corolla Hybrid or Camry Hybrid with real-world economy around 4–5 L/100 km and cheap servicing.

Sedans generally have better boots than hatches, so luggage fits without Tetris; the Prius, Hyundai Ioniq and Kia Niro Hybrid are also smart picks.

Prioritise rear-legroom, boot space, ANCAP safety, and a long warranty, then run the numbers on tyres, insurance, and depreciation.

If you’re chasing higher-rated rides (Uber Comfort), a midsize hybrid like a Camry keeps punters happy while your fuel bill stays politely tiny.
