best ev charging apps australia Page 1017

In Australia, the best EV charging apps depend on the job at hand.

For finding live chargers and who’s iced the spot, PlugShare is the crowd favourite with real-time check-ins.

For starting and paying, Chargefox and Evie cover heaps of sites, while the Tesla app rules Superchargers (many are now open to non-Tesla owners).

For brains, A Better Routeplanner (ABRP) does trip planning and charge stops with less faff than your sat-nav, and network apps like Ampol AmpCharge and Jolt round out the toolkit (Jolt even throws in a bit of free kWh).

Install PlugShare + your preferred network app + ABRP and you’ll be cruising, not cursing.
