best floor mats for tesla model y Page 3

For a Tesla Model Y, the “best” floor mats are the ones that survive kids, coffee, and the occasional beach trip without looking like a compost bin.

Look for TPE or rubber all-weather mats with raised edges, a lip around the dead pedal, and a non-slip backing that won’t argue with the carpet.

Moulded “3D” styles that cup the floor pan fit the Y best; the Tesla OEM set and 3D Maxpider-type mats are crowd favourites, and you can add matching boot and frunk liners for the sand you’ll inevitably pretend isn’t there.

Since we’re in Australia, make sure you buy the RHD-specific kit—some US-market mats don’t line up properly, and the annoyance will outlive the car.

If you cart pets or surf gear, go for a chem-resistant, easy-hose material; if you’re more suits-and-sandwiches, a textile-backed, quieter mat keeps cabin noise down.
