Lamington National Park is basically a rainforest theme park, minus the queues and plus about 500 waterfalls. For big days out, the Coomera Circuit (~17 km) and Toolona Creek Circuit (~17 km) deliver gorge views, ferny tunnels, and more cascades than your camera battery can handle.

The Border Track (~21 km one way) links O’Reilly’s and Binna Burra if you fancy a classic slog with bragging rights. Prefer shorter? Try Box Forest Circuit (~11 km) for Elabana Falls magic, or Moran’s Falls Track (~4.6 km return) for sunset drama without the calf carnage.

Leeches love enthusiasm, so pack spray, a rain shell, and plenty of water, and check park alerts before you set off. You bring the snacks; the lamingtons are sadly not included.
