best iphone 14 pro max car mount Page 2

For the iPhone 14 Pro Max (aka the kettlebell of phones), go with a mount that grips like a koala on a gum tree.

Top picks: Quad Lock MAG (with vibration dampener) for rock-solid security; Belkin BoostCharge MagSafe for slick magnetic convenience; and Scosche MagicMount Pro/ESR HaloLock if you want strong magnets without selling a kidney.

Vent mounts are easy but can sag in summer; a dash/windscreen mount with a decent adhesive pad handles Aussie heat and potholes better.

If you want charging, choose MagSafe-certified for proper hold and speed, otherwise MagSafe-“compatible” Qi units are cheaper but slower; expect about $30–$60 for basic mounts and $90–$180 for premium magnetic/charging setups.

Cable still wins for fastest charging, and whatever you buy, position it low and out of your airbag’s way—because surprise facefuls of airbag are bad for resale value.
