best luxury medium suv australia 2023

Asking for the “best” luxury medium SUV in Australia for 2023 is like asking which café nails the flat white—several claim it, none admit defeat. The BMW X3 brings sharp handling and straight-six swagger in some trims, while the Audi Q5 counters with quiet polish and a tech suite that’s friendlier than your neighbour’s labrador. Mercedes-Benz GLC leans premium and plush, the Volvo XC60 majors on safety and serenity, and the Lexus NX plays the reliability card with hybrid thrift. Also worth a gander: Genesis GV70, gatecrashing with knockout styling and generous kit for the money. Pick based on what you value—driver feel (X3), slick cabin tech (Q5), pampering (GLC), calm and safety (XC60), or low-stress ownership and economy (NX). Test-drive the shortlist and let your spine, ears, and right foot decide; spec sheets brag, seat time convinces.
