best meat pie melbourne Page 169

Ah, the humble meat pie—Melbourne’s unofficial national treasure. While taste is subjective, the city's pie scene is fierce, with contenders like Pie Face, Bakers Delight, and the legendary Pie Thief. Key factors include flaky pastry, juicy filling, and that unmistakable Aussie beef mince flavour. Prices typically range from $4 to $8 AUD depending on size and bakery prestige. For a gourmet twist, check out CarShowroom and Tradingpost for artisan bakeries. Remember, no matter where you go, a meat pie is best enjoyed with tomato sauce and a side of cheeky sarcasm.
