best medium luxury suv australia 2022

Looking for the “best” medium luxury SUV of 2022 in Australia? BMW X3: sharp handling and strong engines; cons are firm ride on big wheels and options that raid the wallet. Audi Q5: quiet, comfy and polished; cons are conservative character and pricey option packs. Mercedes‑Benz GLC: lush cabin and slick tech; cons are higher prices and patchy supply. Volvo XC60: safety, comfort and efficient hybrid choices; cons are infotainment quirks and servicing costs. Lexus NX (and consider Genesis GV70 too): NX brings reliability, hybrid efficiency and cushy ownership; cons are modest boot/pace unless 450h+ and wait times, while GV70’s luxe and warranty value are offset by a smaller dealer footprint and softer resale. No winners picked—just test the lot and choose the flavour that suits your commute and ego.
