best ram 2023 Page 9

“Best RAM 2023” depends on what you’re hauling, who you’re impressing, and how much petrol you fancy converting into noise.

• RAM 1500 DS Classic: cheaper entry with the trusty 5.7L Hemi V8; comfy cruiser, but older cabin and tech.
• RAM 1500 DT (Laramie/Limited): nicer interior and ride, better safety and infotainment; pricier and still thirsty; towing up to 4.5 tonnes with the right setup.
• RAM 1500 TRX: supercharged 6.2L V8 lunacy and desert racer vibes; towering price and fuel bills to match, plus it’s wider than your average driveway.
• RAM 2500/3500: 6.7L Cummins diesel grunt, serious payload/towing, great for caravans and horse floats; bigger dimensions, stiffer ride, and parking becomes a team sport.

Pick based on payload, towing needs, garage space, and budget—there’s no wrong answer, just different flavours of overkill.
