bidirectional ev charger cost Page 17

Looking to harness the power of your EV beyond just driving? Bidirectional EV chargers, which let you feed energy back into your home or the grid, aren't cheap toys. Expect to splash out anywhere from $2,000 to $5,000 AUD for a decent unit, with installation costs tacking on another $500 to $1,500 AUD depending on your setup. Used options are scarce due to tech novelty, but if you find one, it might shave a few hundred off the price.

These marvels are more investment than impulse buy, so check Tradingpost or CarShowroom for the latest deals, and don't forget to factor in potential savings on energy bills or grid feed-in tariffs. Always consult official specs and local electricians to ensure compatibility and safety.
