A blue light on the dashboard usually means one of two things, both perfectly normal unless you ignore them for sport.
If it’s a blue headlamp icon, your high beams are on — great for dark country roads, less great for the oncoming driver flashing you back.
If it’s a blue thermometer or a “C”, the engine is cold; drive gently for a few minutes until it warms up and the light goes away.
If the blue stays on far too long, starts flashing, or turns red, pull over and check coolant levels or get a mechanic involved before the wallet meltdown begins.
