bmw service cost melbourne Page 113

In Melbourne, a routine BMW oil service at an independent Euro specialist typically runs about AUD 350–550, while a dealer will want roughly AUD 550–800.

A larger major service (plugs, filters, fluids) lands around AUD 900–1,600 for most non-M models, with M cars and V8s keen to head north of that.

Common extras: brake pads and rotors AUD 700–1,200 per axle, ZF 8-speed transmission service AUD 700–1,200, coolant and brake-fluid changes AUD 150–300 each.

BMW’s Condition Based Servicing can stretch intervals, but skimping on oil is daft—engines like fresh 5W-30 the way Melburnians like flat whites.

Dealers bring software updates and loan cars; good independents bring smaller bills and the same OEM parts—get quotes (ServiceCentral is handy) and pick your poison.
