The Bombay cat, a sleek and shiny feline often dubbed the "miniature black panther," typically costs between $800 to $1,500 AUD for a pedigree kitten from a reputable breeder in Australia. Used or adult Bombay cats may be found for less on sites like PuppyList, but beware of health and lineage uncertainties. Keep in mind, the real price tag includes vet bills, quality food, and the inevitable fur tumbleweeds on your furniture. If you think that’s expensive, try explaining to your carpet why it’s now a fur magnet.
